Today we embraced Fall and went pumpkin picking. Brian's been away for the past month so we decided to head out as a family on a little adventure. Our neighbors told us about a pumpkin patch not far from the house on Massey's Ranch. The weather almost deterred us, it was in the 50's and a bit rainy, but we arrived just as the rain took a break and had a blast!
We were greeted at our truck by a nice lady driving a cart and opted to take it to the patch and ride the hayride back. Sabrina got a special treat and was able to help drive to the pumpkin patch.
Once we arrived there were rows and rows of perfect pumpkins to pick. Sabrina & Brian took off to find the perfect one.
Of course we couldn't pick just one.
Sabrina wanted them all!
I decided to take her to the end of the patch to look for another perfect one.
We found an extra large one and stopped for a photo op. Sabrina has some silly faces, she mostly likes to make a pirate face when we ask her to pose for the camera.
Finally we collected them all in a pile.
Brian stopped to give his favorite little pumpkin a kiss
Next we took off to get a wagon to pull them back to the hayride
Miss independent had to pull it herself
After loading them up, she still wanted to pull the wagon by herself
It was a bit heavy so she finally accepted help.
We enjoyed the hayride back through the ranches beautiful property.
