Surprise Baby Shower / Tea Party

Today I was completely surprised with a Tea Party / Baby Shower.

I'm not one for surprises but I have some amazing friends and a wonderful husband that pulled it off.  I was under the impression that we were heading to Wal-Mart to pick up paint supplies to start painting the girls rooms. Brian said he had somewhere he wanted to stop first so I was like ok...then we pulled up to a community center and I kind of figured out what was about to take place when I recognized everyones cars.

I really wish I had taken a bit more time to "get ready" for the day, or at least dress Sabrina in "tea party attire", but I really had no clue about the party and in the end what truly matters is that I had a great time with some wonderful friends.  I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I want to say a special thanks to Sherry & Casey for putting this together.  I know from getting Sabrina's party together that it takes a lot of work...and to get everyone together for a surprise party is even harder!
You girls seriously rock.

The tea pot cake was adorable!

These were special made MnM's.  I couldn't get the text to photo right but they had the following sayings on them "Congrats Dudes", "It's a Girl" &
"Christina Dude"...Yes that's what we're naming her for those who haven't heard, Christina Lynn Dude after her grandma's

These are my wonderful hostesses... Sherry & Casey

The kids had a cute little table set up and had their own tea party.

One of the games we played was for the girls to make tea party hats.

Here are the finished products...It was hard picking the bests.

Brian probably wont be to happy that I'm posting the next picture...But he was a good sport and modeled the winner...I liked it best because it had fun flare & sported the family initials on it.

The girls made their own hats and graciously modeled them for me

Somehow I missed taking a photo of this diaper cake at the party.  Thank you Casey for  putting so much hard work into making it!

PS Tulips are my favorite flower!!

Thanks again to everyone who made the day so special.  I love you ladies!!!

Sabrina turns 3!

What a fun couple of days we have had.  Sabrina turned 3 this past Friday and we celebrated at home as a family.  On Saturday we let loose and had a big party with all her friends at a local fun center called Time Out.

Friday morning Sabrina woke to presents from some of her favorite relatives.  She was really excited when she first saw them.

That afternoon once Brian came home from work, she got more gifts from mom & dad.

Every time we've been to Target in the past few months we head through the bedding section to look for ideas for her new room (she's giving her baby sister the smaller room).  Each trip we pass by this owl pillow and she calls it "her owl".  So of course it was one of the first gifts we got her. As soon as she opened it she gave it a big hug!

She's also been wanting something to keep all her "treasure" in...so we got her a cupcake bank

We picked up a Birthday night cupcake for her to have a  treat on her actual birthday.  We had a good time singing for her and actually had to remind her to make a wish to get the candle to blow out.

We did a "sweet" birthday theme for the party.  Here's the cupcake and cake pop table.

Our "Thank You" gifts to the kids for coming was a sweet treats station.

The jelly beans were Sabrina's favorite.  She's still asking for the "rainbow beans".
I told her the Easter Bunny will be bringing more of them to her soon enough.

Finally the kids arrived and the party got started.  Here's Eva enjoying the bounce house.

Aurelia was having a ball!

This was mostly how I saw Sabrina throughout the party...
Runing non-stop from room to room.

But she did have some fun with Brian going down the slide

And swinging on the zip line

Karley & her enjoyed a game of air hockey

Sage enjoyed the game too.

Asha and Joey were playing catch

Noble stopped by for a minute to say hello.

And then it was cupcake time...all the kids took a break from playing for those sweet treats!

They played a bit more... Travis & Sabrina were being silly in the bounce house.

Then it was present time.  Sabrina & Eva gave each other hugs while waiting to open gifts.

The kids were such wonderful helpers with opening the gifts.

So much fun was had but unfortunately the party had to end.
Sabrina was exhausted on the ride home...

Special thanks to all who made Sabrina's 3rd birthday so special.  It's nice to have great family and friends here in NNY.
